U6-Pro and U6-Mesh Review and Speed Comparisons : r/Ubiquiti
2022年5月1日 · Last year I reviewed Ubiquiti’s first Wi-Fi 6 access points, the U6-Lite and U6-LR. Since then the U6-Pro and U6-Mesh have been released, and there are still a few more Wi-Fi 6 models in Early Access. My U6-Lite and U6-LR review also covered a lot of the basics of Wi-Fi 6, which I won’t repeat here. This review focuses on the specs and ...
UniFi U6-Enterprise Preview and Wi-Fi 6E Deep Dive : r/Ubiquiti
2022年2月13日 · The Access Point WiFi 6 Enterprise (U6 Enterprise) is a next-generation, enterprise-grade access point designed to take advantage of WiFi 6E speeds. Ideal for demanding, high-density networks, the U6 Enterprise can support up to 600+ clients over its 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz channels.
Wifi 6 Pro - POE requirements? : r/Ubiquiti - Reddit
2021年11月30日 · The U6-Pro is using 6.11w versus 3.73w on my old AC-Pro. It's possible there are some usage scenarios that greatly increase power requirements. I've only got 3 clients on the U6-Pro because I moved all my IoT and guest stuff to the old AC-Pro.
Can you mix and match Unifi WiFi 5 and WiFi 6 UAPs ? : r/Ubiquiti
I'm another person who added a 6-LR to my home's AC access points. Everything works fine. When my WiFi 6 phone or laptop is on the 6-LR I get >600Mb speed vs 450 on the older ones. It just works, and I'm very happy with the speed and range of the new AP.

Wifi6 Option Not Showing in Global Options... : r/Ubiquiti - Reddit
2022年11月29日 · There is Wifi 6 which only supports 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz,and then Wifi 6E which adds support to the new 6Ghz Network. Only the 2 Enterprise APs Ubiquiti sells support 6E. From what I hear, doesn't work all that well. I wouldn't worry about it. I doubt it'll really be a thing for at least another 10 years. 6Ghz will also have less range than 5Ghz.
U6-Enterprise completely disables WPA2 with 6 GHz enable
2022年3月18日 · After looking around a bit in the system, I notice that the WiFi security was hard locked to WPA3 only and wouldn't even let me select WPA2/WPA3 option, even for the 2.4 & 5 GHz. I know as per the Wi-Fi 6e standard, all 6 Ghz devices must support and use WPA3 when using the 6 GHz radio.
6 GHz Devices Not Connecting to 6E : r/Ubiquiti - Reddit
On the Intel WiFi cards you need to set “prefer 6 GHz” to send a strong hint to the card to get onto the 6 GHz band otherwise sometimes it will camp out on 5 GHz if the rssi is stronger. That happens on non-unifi 6E APs as well.
Mixing WiFi 5 and WiFi 6 APs : r/Ubiquiti - Reddit
2022年8月20日 · More APs are "better" as you can use more spectrum (if it´s availiable) and you can mix WiFi 5 and WiFi 6 APs.. Even if they are close together. The larger high density Enterprise APs typcially have 8 radio chains for 5GHz, so you can typically do 2x 4x4 on two separate 5GHz channels, so they are essentially "two APs in one".
Mixing WiFi 5,6, and 7? : r/Ubiquiti - Reddit
2024年6月18日 · Thinking of using a Swiss Army Knife Ultra. Will mixing Wifi 5,6, and 7 cause any connectivity issues? I'm using a mix of Wifi 6 and 7 APs currently with no issues, however, most of my devices are WiFi 6/ 6E anyway. I wouldn't anticipate throwing in a WiFi 5 AP to cause issues, but figured I'd ask just in case.
