2023年10月4日 · But that gave me the idea to change the permissions for the original directory from read/write to read only, restart the nas, then back to read/write. After another restart it's all working fine - mounts at startup, no need for root and uid's match. That's just saved me buying a new nas, so super happy!

2008年5月27日 · For the record, I'm using a Sumvision NetBox NAS with a 250gb drive containing the /home partition of my previous install of Ubuntu 8.04. I expanded it to wipe the existing / and swap partitions. Could any user settings be lurking here that would effect anything? On the client, I'm running 8.04. Any suggestions gratefully received!
