2024年6月20日 · But when I used that pic as pfp for a social media app, my own mom didn't recognize me. She literally said "oh there's another [my name] on that app messaging me, how funny." It was so humiliating. Apparently just looking semi-decent was enough for me to be fully unrecognisable. Another time my sister had asked me to use a pfp.

2024年3月22日 · Um, not just ugly people. Obviously, there's some correlation, but it's not 1:1. There are ugly people who find their best match right away. There are hot people who struggle their whole lives. Some good-looking people only pursue people who don't want a relationship or have better (not necessarily better-looking) options.

The date is 07/18/2023. A couple of months ago I changed my profile pic to the ugly avatar. I was really surprised when I couldn't change it back to a photo in the app, but I just successfully changed it on the website using my laptop.
