Stimulating Urban Renewal Through Entrepreneurship, or SURE, is a unique multi-sided program at the University of Houston's C. T. Bauer College of Business. First, students step into consultant roles of their own ‘firm’ where they work with 4-5 local Houston business owners to manage the process of them writing their business plans.

About the SURE Program. This free award-winning program for local entrepreneurs offers: Business education with no tuition or fees, just your hard work and total commitment. Open enrollment to the public — you do not have to be a UH student. Lectures given by industry experts in their field and mentorship by UH business students.

SURE is an innovative educational platform that connects UH students, under-resourced entrepreneurs, and the Houston business community. The primary stakeholder group served by the SURE Program is students. Receiving an education to find employment, students face three distinct problems based on what today's workforce demands.
