I have the in browser (running on an ubuntu machine on the UISP router network, it is plugged directly into port 2, WAN is port 1). mobile app connects just fine (from a downstream wireless AP hooked into port 3).

Jan 21, 2022 · UNMS is UISP (it's being actively rebranded) and it's more tailored for Service Providers. No Wi-Fi like Unifi ... Unifi is the prosumer line. No true PtP/PtMP like airmax (although they're doing UBB) Active vs Passive PoE ... Don't get me started. ANYTHING new should be Active using BT standards, end of discussion.

Sep 7, 2022 · The UISP Router is a router and the UISP Switch is a switch. That is pretty much it. If setting up a small scale WISP and giving out WAN IPs to the sites, what would be more appropriate, a UISP Router or UISP Switch? The UISP switch is incapable of doing this. It does not support NAT. Also it does not support layer 3 switching.

Mar 19, 2022 · Would not use the UISP stuff for that purpose. You need at least 10 devices to control things with the UISP app. I just setup a wireless PTP bridge using 2 airMAX GigaBeams. Since I did not have a minimum of 10 devices, I used the UISP mobile app, and that works to configure the Gigabeams in that case.

May 15, 2022 · Hi all, My UISP won't update via the "normal" method within the app. Will it hurt anything to run the installation script to upgrade to the latest version? The ubiquiti site just says that it's recommended to do it from within the app without specifying what to do if that fails... Thanks in advance.
