Ukraine has celebrated the Day of the National Flag on 23 August since 2004. Ukrainian law states that the colours of Ukrainian flag are "blue and yellow", but other state bodies have determined the colours.

Mar 9, 2022 · To Tell You the Truth, I have a Ukrainian flag, and I noticed it has a very thin stripe like this in between the blue and the yellow. Because when it's printed, the two colors combined into a (very) thin GREEN stripe!

The first flag of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (UkSSR) was adopted on 10 March 1919 to serve as the symbol of state of the Ukrainian SSR. Details of the official flag changed periodically before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, but all had as their basis the communist red flag .
