However, there is something seductive and addictive in Umnumzaan. It is for sure a simple and beautiful knife and at the same time feels like it is a precision and heavy-duty tool.

2018年10月5日 · The super quiet action of the Umnumzaan is in sharp contrast to the loud clink-clank of the large Sebenza. In fairness I only have a Damascus Sebenza so maybe that somehow contributes to the clanky feel of the Sebenza deployment? I ended up removing my Umnumzaan clip that sits right on the edge vs. off a few mm in the Sebenza.

I normally carry the Star-Tac which is a collaboration between Chris Reeve and Bill Wilson of Wilson Combat. My original Umnumzaan like yours is just for looks and lives in the safe.

2004年8月2日 · The Umnumzaan is easy to remove quickly from a sheath or pocket and is just as easy to open or close with thin and medium gloves on as it is with bare hands. The knife can be dropped open into reverse grip easily or you can use the dredded "double wrist flick" if you really have to for forward grip. The thumb studs work well too.

2010年2月10日 · SO an umnumzaan cleaning is coming up. Just a few thought I have about the umnumzaan that I wanted to share. Overall, I really like the Zaan and if I did not have a sebenza to compare it too, I would probably think its the greatest knife ever. Its a great thing that the knife I am comparing the Umnumzaan too is a CRK Legend.

2016年2月26日 · The Umnumzaan doesn't get the time that the other CRK's do in the forum and stuff like this can end up very deep in the pile, it's nice to see the info brought up every now and then for what I think is one of his best knives.
