Community members are welcome between 7:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays; and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays. UNC Charlotte IDs are required from 10 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Atkins offers a variety of spaces to study (even with your children!) including reservable study rooms, classrooms, and group and single study spaces throughout the library. Several student success services have satellite locations here in Atkins, and if you're looking for a silent place to study we've got you covered.

Atkins offers over 3 million volumes, including 1.4 million e-books, over 450 databases, and approximately 212,000 journals, the vast majority available electronically. The building has 285,000 square feet with 1,928 seats and 324 computers available for student use.
