Fans: Lian Li Unifan with their controller and cables (there are 7 fans total in my setup with this controller). The controller has two plugs for the MB. One is the 4 pin (with only 3 wires) that goes to the USB2 header and the other is another 4 pin (with only one wire) that goes to CHA2 on the MB. See attached photo. These are PWM fans.

2021年7月3日 · Theoretically it is possible because both the SL120 and AL120 use the same headers. However, L-Connect (both original and L-Connect 2) will detect these as SL fans (because of the controller signal), so the lighting effects will look odd. So while it can definitely be done, and the hardware won't be damaged, LIAN LI does not recommend doing so.

2022年12月28日 · The SL 120 V2 are slightly thicker than the V1 improving static airflow by 10%, brighter led and completely different connections. I literally just upgraded my whole fan setup from the SL120 v1 to the V2. The info on the difference between the two are on the lian li website. I do not own the infinity fans, I personally hate glowing fan blades.

2021年5月25日 · The SL120 is an RGB fan, which probably means you’re sacrificing performance compared to the others, in this case due to thicker frames, which means smaller fan blades (on others, it’s larger hubs where you pay for the LEDs). People seem to love them but I haven’t seen hardcore performance reviews.

2022年3月5日 · I'm planning a water cooling build using corsair hydro x stuff.I have 3 daisy-chained sets of 3 Unifan SL120s connected to the Unifan controller. I want to be able to control the RGB and the fan control on iCUE by connecting the rgb controller to the commander. Simply because the less to software to worry about, the better.

2022年11月27日 · I have used Lian LI products since their “Aluminum Case” in the early 2000s. Something a simple as keeping SLv1s in stock since the “unifan craze” of 2020 or making the v2 and v1 s compatible is going to have me gracefully bow out of being a Lin LI supporter. I own a Tech shop and have recommended Lian Li since the 2000s.

2020年10月1日 · I got my SL120 3-pack today and after I got everything wired up its not working as expected. No matter what settings I configure in L-Connect the fans stay in the default rainbow RGB mode and they stay at the default speed (800 rpm?). I cannot get the lights or the speed to change. I do see the "LianLi" device in device manager.
