Therefore, I want to wipe all Dropbox access from the giveaway computer without affecting the master files themselves or access to them from any of the other computers. Hello, I was looking for a way to silently remove dropbox. I need to do this for a company. I am trying to use DropboxUninstaller.exe /s in SCCM but it's not working. It pops up a box asking if you want to uninstall. I tried looking through the forms but it seems this question has been totally ignored by Dropbox every time it is asked.

I have used Dropbox for years and I love it, however, I upgraded to a New Desktop PC with Windows 11 Home. I could not get Dropbox to run. I tried the usual Uninstall Program feature in Windows but Dropbox would fail to uninstall.

Oct 21, 2022 · After the uninstaller failed, I checked and Dropbox was gone. So I tried reinstalling Dropbox and the installer hung (green line moving left to right over and over). After about ten minutes that box just disappeared. And Dropbox appeared in my list of apps. However, it doesn't open. I restarted and it still won't open.

Manually uninstall from the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\Client and there is a left over DLL - DropboxExt64.69.0.dll which I can't clean it - because it's hold by other unknown process Reply

The Dropbox folder is normally installed to your user profile, so unless you did something to point both installs to a single folder, they're likely already separate. Just make sure first.
