2017年8月17日 · Unit 22 is my favorite unit, deer can be found pretty much anywhere in the unit. During the rut you can wait for the bucks to bed with his does and put on a stalk, or try to intercept them along their path if they're constantly moving. Forget scents, calls and rattles, that shit don't work on desert deer.

2017年5月11日 · I love unit 22 but have hunted since I was little. The problem with 22 is the lack of elk, especially early in September. What elk will be around will be highly visible from the main roads in early morning and the race will ne getting into position before anyone else as the leave the private fields and head to bedding areas.

2016年6月2日 · Hello to everyone on the forum, last month me and two buddies put in for some Antelope tags in Wyoming unit 22. I was wondering if anyone has ever hunted there or knows anything about it. This is our first western hunt, we are from Central Alabama so pretty much all of our experience is in whitetails, squirrels, and turkeys.

2022年7月25日 · I solo hunted Unit 21 first rifle last year. My experience: a lot of hunters (all very friendly) around except for the ridge I was camped on; when I arrived there was 4" of snow on the ground and it was cold at night; saw 1 bull 2 days before the season started while setting up my tent but saw a lot of fresh sign in every morning and a half dozen cows with a spike one day.

2017年2月6日 · Seems like a fair amount of interest in this unit 22 antelope hunt. Looks as if a guy who really wants a tag , might better put in the draw this year. Might not be any left after the leftover draw ends. Just my opinion but I sure plan on going into the pool instead of waiting and hoping there will be some left.

2019年7月24日 · Hunted that unit 22 for 30 yrs, went back in 3rd rifle 2020, for deer , the oil company that had a lease on about 40,000 acres was allowed to lease it to 4 guide outfits. They posted no trespassing signs all over. Maps from BLM didn’t show anything like that

2020年8月4日 · The unit where I live requires 5 points to draw a 4th season tag and the bucks here are much larger than anything we saw in unit 22. Just an opinion based on what we experienced. We are going back this year during 4th season for elk.

2008年10月3日 · Hello my wife and I are out archery hunting currently in unit 13. We saw a couple of cows yesterday but that's it. Not much in the way of sign. Land is tough to access in a lot of areas. Was thinking about unit 22. Any suggestions as to whether this is a good unit for archery or do you have another suggestion. Thanks much!
