In the message window, point to the numbers above your inbox. These numbers tell you how many messages are on the page and in your inbox. For example, 1-42 of 42 means you're viewing messages 1-42 on the page, and you have 42 messages in your inbox. To see the oldest messages first, click Oldest. To see the most recent messages first, click Newest.

2019年4月29日 · To search unread emails, type "is:unread" into the search bar, then press Enter on your keyboard. I've then checked all and mark as read, all notifications disapeared. I have used desktop browser for this solution, if you are using an app and this does not solve the issue I suggest logging in to a desktop browser and do the 1st step.
