Applying for housing is a simple two-part process which involves submitting the housing application and selecting a room during a room selection period. As part of its 2019-22 strategic plan, the university invested $87 million in the construction of two new residence halls on Belknap campus.The first opened in 2021, and the second opened this fall. While the new residence halls are outfitted to meet 21st-century students’ needs, both were missing one important element -- proper names.
