2021年8月2日 · UOTCs get a lot stick but the reality is the majority of officers in the army were in one before they joined (usually at least 60% of an intake at Sandhurst). It also allows you to get much better access for visits and understanding what the army is like before you join.

UOTC vs URNU vs UAS (Experiences and differences)
2021年7月21日 · UAS and UOTC are both recruitment tools. Their purpose is to encourage their members to join and they both act as a bit of a prep school for Cranwell and Sandhurst. Both are extremely picky about who they allow to join (UAS, for example, is only interested in those who are highly likely to pass aircrew selection).
