U.S. Route 26 (US 26) is a major cross-state United States Numbered Highway with its western terminus in the U.S. state of Oregon, connecting US 101 on the Oregon Coast near Seaside with the Idaho state line east of Nyssa.

U.S. Highway 26 (US-26) is an east–west highway in western Nebraska. It enters the state from Wyoming just west of Henry. The eastern terminus of US-26 is in Ogallala at an interchange with Interstate 80 (I-80).

In the U.S. state of Oregon, U.S. Route 26 is a major cross-state state highway, connecting U.S. Route 101 on the Oregon Coast near Seaside with the Idaho state line east of Nyssa. Local highway names (see Oregon highways and routes) include the Sunset Highway No. 47, Mount Hood Highway No. 26, and John Day Highway No. 5.

U.S. Route 26 is a major East-West route of the U.S. Highway system, stretching just over 1,555 miles (2,505 km) from Cannon Beach, Oregon to Ogallala, Nebraska. US-26 begins as a major freeway in Cannon Beach at it's junction with U.S. Route 101.

Winter snow and road conditions are advisable for this portion of US 26. ODOT [Oregon Transportation Dept.] Junction to Timothy, Oregon and Ollalie, Oregon Lakes. This road leads to FR 48, then on to Tygh valley, Oregon - Rock Creek, Oregon Reservoir and Wamic, Oregon.
