Once used to load Bi-level Autoracks, this is an 80-ton flatcar constructed by the Pressed Steel Car Company in July 1953. Constructed for the USN to haul gun mounts this is a 70-ton, 42' Flatcar built by Thrall in 1956. Abandon connection to the A&R at Skibo. Genset 6516 was transferred from Fort Eustis to Fort Bragg.

As of June 30 1960, the Air Force had 394 cars, 162 locomotives and 44 locomotive cranes. The US Army Transportation Corps had procurement and maintenance responsibility for this equipment. Most came from Army inventory. All of these seem to be in the same C-xxx number series as used by the Army.
