2014年10月1日 · I'm planning on housing my bp in a plastic tub, and I bought this reptitherm under the tank heater from amazon. I thought I was getting a heat mat, but it's an adhesive u.t.h. Are these safe to use with plastic tubs? If not, what should I get? A heat cable or a heat pad?

2007年11月26日 · My plan is to cover the glue with the tape, and then use tape to hold the UTH onto the tank glass. Does anyone have any experience with this? I've just left the glue alone and used the tape around the entire edge of the UTH. It works quite well. By "glue" im guessing your talking about the adhesive that is already on one side of the UTH?

2011年7月15日 · I wanted to hear some opinions about how best to secure the thermostat probe inside the glass cage over the middle of the UTH (as recommended by the helpful Herpstat fellow). Would you put the hot glue down the length of the probe cord, but leave the actual terminal sensor end without glue (which would still secure it in its proper place)?
