2017年8月9日 · One has more cylinders. That doesn't always mean it's faster though. Every engine is different. For example, a newer V6 Mustang is faster than an older V8 Mustang. A 350Z which has a V6 is faster than some V8's too. Some 4-cylinder cars are even faster than V8's and V6's. A truck with a V8 might be slower than a car with a 4-cylinder engine.

2023年9月15日 · If you want those features, I would be asking yourself if you could afford a 2SS over a 3LT. An LT1 should be compared to a 1LT if you simply want the V6 vs V8 debate. I would personally take a 3LT over an LT1 if I could not afford the 2SS, and then upgrade to a 2SS (used or new) down the road.

My reasoning is that a V8 can get up to highway speeds faster with less effort than a V6, which can maybe offer a better coasting factor into the mileage.
