2003年11月2日 · So all V8 engines are made in the US? Interesting.... I believe they are refering to domestic car V8's (whether made in the US or not), but I could be wrong. :dunno: If I was to "drop" a V8 into a Honda, why not do it with a proper Honda V8 and go with a Honda Inday car motor? :p But I've heard of people dropping 350 small blacks into Civics.
Putting a V8 engine into a Civic - Car Forums and Automotive Chat
2008年12月17日 · If you just want more power in your Civic, then choose a realistic engine to start with. Honda/Acura K-series engines make great power, and there are plenty of aftermarket parts available for them. Hasport also just came out with the J-series engine mount kit, to put a Honda/Acura V6 J-series engine into your chassis.

2003年11月15日 · you could fit a v8 in a lude. my friends 240sx has a 350 in it. Ok lets say you got a V8 in a honda. Now how are you going to keep all that torque from twisting the whole car like a twisty bread stick? Hondas are unibody and "basically" have no frame, so ythe motor would rip mounts out and twist the body etc.
DOMESTIC vs IMPORT? - Car Forums and Automotive Chat
2003年2月20日 · Imports (honda,vw,etc.) vs Domestics (chevy, pontiac, etc.) and I dont mean v8 firebirds, camaros and mustangs. I am talking about 4 cylinders and some v6s with aftermarket mods done to them. Like a civic vs a cavalier, or a integra vs a neon, or a focus vs a golf, or a cougar vs a eclipse, these are just some examples.
What to look for when buying 4th gen....
2003年1月20日 · Originally posted by civic_16valver but most of your stuff has f*%kin huge V8's when our are mostly 4 cylinders A lot of the American made cars have V8's in them, but almost all the japanese and european imports we get are weaker versions....i'm not too worried about it though cause I prefer a Honda 4 cylinder over a crappy Ford V8.

2000年12月10日 · Z28 RACER i couldnt agree with you more! i cant stand morons that categorize every import car as "rice". the only time the term ever applies is to a civic with 50 stickers and 18 wheels and 5" tip that claims to have run 12s. but, then again most die-hard chevy or ford guys are so ignorant about the power potential of "ricers" that its fun taking their money. walk up ...
