2002年12月9日 · V8 S10:bowtie: TRUCKS on TNN did a swap about 1 or 2 years ago. Thay put a V8 in a XTREME PICKUP thay used a kit that came with everything EXCEPT ENG.TRANS.& COMPUTER it inc. headers, drive shaft etc. Check them out. It was a three or four week project on the show.:racing:

2019年6月29日 · 90, 91, 92 would work best. You use the v8 chip and keep your computer. Keep your trans and accessories. You will not have space for a mechanical clutchfan so you will use electric fan(s) such as a Ford taurus e-fan setup. You can use the stock v8 oil pan for 2wd otherwise you will need a v8 swap 4x4 oil pan that clears your front diff.

2008年1月14日 · V8 swap is in progress so I don't want to spend any $$$ on the Chevy 7.5". I also thought about changing the front rotors to 5 on 4 1/2 to match the rear. The 4x4 backspace really limits wheel choices, especially if I want to stay with an 8" or narrower rim. Does anyone have any pics of the 8.8 swap? Thanks, Mike

2009年3月22日 · if you want to keep it fuel injected, the easiest swap is to find a 96'-04' vortec 5.0L or 5.7L complete engine. you can use your v6 wiring harness and computer, all your sensors will plug up the same, and your front accessories from your 4.3 will bolt right up to the front of the vortec v8, also the transmission will bolt right up too... you will have to buy the swap motor mounts, you will ...
