The VBR GP is a handgun designed and manufactured by VBR-Belgium. The GP pistol was designed as a semi-automatic handgun with the aesthetics of a revolver.

Rik Van Bruaene is a Belgian firearms designer. Van Bruaene founded VBR-Belgium in 1989, and has been managing it ever since. His first project was the VBR GP, and later worked on more radical designs such as the M.G.91, CAR and CAR-2. His more recent designs include the CQBW, MC-PDW and the PDW.
