Re: What exactly does the VE table do? - HP Tuners Bulletin Board
2006年9月24日 · A quick summary: while we do have maf's, the ve table is referenced during open loop. It's also referenced in closed loop at lower rpm and on throttle transients b/c the maf is slow to react to the sudden change in airflow. At 4000 rpm and up the maf is the source of airflow calculation. Below this, it's a mix of the maf and ve table.
VE tables - HP Tuners Bulletin Board
2012年10月30日 · So when you see a 87 in the VE table, that means that at that speed/load point, the engine is efficient enough to fill the cylinder 87% of the way up. Typically, you'll never get near 100% at idle or lower RPMs. As the "cam band" starts to come in, you'll start to see the efficiency quickly rise up. The VE will peak at peak torque (somewhere ...
VE tuning guide - HP Tuners Bulletin Board
2008年1月24日 · One would assume that if there is a VE table there, its there for the same reasons... MAF failure and transient changes. Those transient changes are part of why a good VE tune works so well on the 3800s. Bill has mentioned that the 4.3s are a lot closer to V8 PCMs than V6's... but a VE tune is very simple to do.

2024年1月1日 · Disable MAF - Engine>Airflow>Dynamic>High RPM disable> set to 8000 (Alternatively you can or use in conjunction with Airflow>Dynamics> Steady State>set the Lo/hi Map and Lo/hi TPS to 0's (zero's), this will force the PCM to use only the VE table.)disable max line press.jpgYoull want to make sure these are set to disable when MAF is failed as ...
super simple question - VE table - When lean do the number …
2013年6月28日 · Are you doing this at idle, cruise, or at WOT? Are you boosted? I am learning right now but 200's seem like alot. If you are lean, you increase the number in the VE table. If you are rich you will decrease. This is why you see at higher MAP signals and higher RPM the VE number is larger than around 15kpa and 1200rpm. Hope this helps.
Adjusting Main VE Table, When and By How Much? - EFILive
VE table inaccuracies will also affect fuel trims. And little changes matter, on my own truck a 2% change means the difference between 15+ MPG and 12-MPG. Your long-tube modding example: usually (!) when adding headers, the motor will breathe a tad less airflow below peak torque, then show a gain 4-5% more airflow at peak torque, and hold those ...

So pulling a targeted percentage of fuel out of the VE table in a targeted RPM range that would be a steady state cruise zone on the highway would lean it out a bit and improve fuel economy? I'm looking for that 1750 rpm to 2750 rpm steady state cruise …
E38 2 Bar VE Table - HP Tuners Bulletin Board
2018年3月31日 · I have followed Eds steps, and have successfully populated the 2 Bar VE table, but the problem is the units. The VVE table has values up to 6,281 and the VE table in the 2 bar reduces each value to a 3 digit number. How can i convert the VVE units to VE. Is the 2 Bar VE table based on 0-100%?
VE table before and after. What am i doing wrong - HP Tuners …
2024年5月29日 · VE tables are measurement of volumetric efficiency are they not ? Which means they should be a reasonable comparison for power gains when compared to previous log files of the same truck. At least thats what i assume and it makes sense to me. Attatched are the files of both before a cam swap and after. The truck runs pretty well in for both.
HOW TO: Setup AFR / Lambda ERROR Graphs vs. VE Table (non …
2016年2月22日 · This is meant to serve as a basic how-to for setting up an AFR or Lambda ERROR graph (histogram) for vehicles with regular VE tables (i.e. not virtual VE).
