2017年2月7日 · It looked like you had added two video capture devices, one being your integrated webcam. There's no real list, if the device is DirectShow compatible, it will work in OBS Studio. Many times, cards don't offer proper DirectShow drivers (their apps use something proprietary) and it causes issues.

The video just shows up blank with 2 vertical white lines. I’ve set the source to usb2 input & tried every option, different FPS but still nothing. also tried different macs & different usb inputs. Do I have to set the output resolution in video settings to see the actual video when monitoring (playing the VHS into OBS)? so frustrating!!

Nothing to hear and nothing is recorded. I have tried it with another software. Since it was only for testing I want to get OBS Studio running.

2022年10月8日 · My old laptop finally crashed and after purchasing a new one I downloaded OSB to finish digitizing some very old VHS tapes. Following all instructions/settings/etc, I've been unable to record from the VHS. I did set the source to VHS. When I start playing the tape nothing shows up on the OBS screen like before.

2016年3月5日 · Am I missing hardware (such as recording cards) or is it possible to record an external monitor with the only use of a VGA cable? You do need the capture card. Plugging the VGA cable in to try to capture video from your TV is like plugging a blender in during a power outage to power your house.
