2022年1月12日 · I have older equipment Scientific Atlanta Box which I Prefer to the newest XBox equipment. A comcast employee wrote about this issue in 2019 and claimed the VM-16 was a backend server w/metadata problem. Personally think that Xfinity is attempting to force those of us w/older systems to change. When equipment dies so goes my TV account.

2023年6月2日 · Modem is CM1000v2 ... Thank you. Frankly I'm not sure what's happening here. The Event Type Code: 16/24 flip-flop seems to be common for DOCSIS 3.1 modems like the CM1000.

2023年11月24日 · Starting on the 21st we have had consistent UCD invalid or channel unusable critical logs appearing in the modem event log, which in turn cause a CM-STATUS message sent. Event Type Code: 16 to also appear. What this is causing is every 20 or so minutes there is a hiccup in the connection, causing a outage for brief moments frequently.

2024年6月20日 · Heads up about an Xfinity Spoofing scam that I experienced yesterday. I called Xfinity CS yesterday regarding my account and, while on the call, I got an incoming call that went to VM. After my call ended, I checked VM and it was Xfinity giving me a callback as I had requested. I did not recall asking for a callback, so I deleted the message.
