The Holden Commodore (VP) is a full-size car that was produced by Holden from 1991 to 1993. It was the second iteration of the second generation of the Commodore. Its range included the luxury variants, Holden Berlina (VP) and Holden Calais (VP).

Released in October 1991, the Holden VP Series I (VP.I) Commodore was available as a large sedan or wagon. Manufactured in Elizabeth, South Australia, the rear-wheel drive VP Commodore was available with 3.8-litre V6 engine and 5.0-litre V8 engines.

The Commodore Wagon is part of Holden's VP model series. Its 3.8 litre engine is a naturally aspirated, overhead valve, 6 cylinder unit that has an output of 170.5 bhp (173 PS/127 kW) of power at 4800 rpm, and maximum torque of 298 N·m (220 lb·ft/30.4 kgm) at 3200 rpm.

The HSV VP Series was launched in October 1991 and featured major upgrades, a re-styled body design and the introduction of six new colours. Independent Rear Suspension also became available on selected short wheelbase models. the introduction of new model names, Senator and GTS which continue to be used to the present day.
