2020年12月18日 · When connected to your VPN server, you will be able to access other network devices via their standard 192 LAN IPs. But to connect to the device the VPN server is running on, you will need to connect to a 10.8.x,x IP. IF you dig into the logs, you should be able to determine what IP the server device is getting from the VPN server.
New Mac mini as VPN server - MacRumors Forums
2011年7月26日 · OK, while convincing my wife we "needed" a Mac Mini because it could also serve as a VPN server (apart from all the other positives), now I have the MM but how the heck do I set up a VPN server? My previous experience (MM Server, 2011) was easy: it was included. What to do now? When I google I find many commercial alternatives.
Using VPN connection on Mac - MacRumors Forums
2018年10月24日 · The inbuilt VPN protocols (IPSec, IKEv2) are for connection to enterprise VPN servers. This enables the local Mac/PC to make network connection within the enterprise internal network. Most 'Consumer/personal' VPN services use Wireguard or OpenVPN protocols and require the provider's VPN client app.
Mac mini File/VPN/Firewall Server - MacRumors Forums
2008年6月29日 · I've used pfSense at home for the past 3 years and really like it but I highly recommend keeping your router/firewall and home server as 2 separate devices. You don't want something as simple as a MacOS update/reboot/etc on your server to take down your entire home network. You can then easily configure VPN in pfSense.
VPN Server for Catalina - MacRumors Forums
2014年6月4日 · 1. The GUI Mac app for configuration is 32 bit, so it won't run on Catalina. Easy enough to run it on a family member's Win10 laptop and just enter the IP address of the VPN server to configure. 2. They recommend using a separate Ethernet connection for the bridge adapter, but it is supposed to work if you only have one connection.

Web Server for macOS - MacRumors Forums
2013年6月5日 · Looking for any recommendations for a web server to run on macOS to serve RSS feeds to the machine it's running upon, and to other machines on the network. Ideally, I'd like a self-contained server product that runs as a GUI app, rather than messing with the (is it still included?) built-in Apache itself. Multiple sites, multiple feeds etc.

Search an Install an iOS VPN client that does have the ability to specify a DNS server (as per macOS' VPN client). Comments / thoughts / suggestions, especially for an iOS VPN client with DNS specification capabilities. Thanks.

The VPN client is extremely easy to setup, just use the System Preferences Network Preferences pane and add the appropriate VPN service. Regards, Switon
VPN shared secret? [Solved] - MacRumors Forums
2009年11月6日 · The VPN's set up for each department individually all have publicly shared shared secrets, posted on the web. They're even obvious too; the Ag one is AgVPN, etc. I mean if they were secretive about ALL VPN's, then I would be understanding, but this VPN is really much less sensitive than the departmental ones, and set up by the same people.
