VSP in general has set rates across their major plan types (Signature, Choice, Value) compared to Davis where it seems to be negotiated on a per plan basis. It could be simliar to Eyemed's structure of Premier, Select, etc.. but w/o a name giving it away..

After I had some of the same problems the last three days including superior also, I was able to have a conversation with a higher up today with superior, who told me it was nothing to do with system glitches. apparently there has been an overwhelming shopping spree going on and everyone has decided to use their insurance. the insurance agencys are just unable to handle it.
