Run Output Tests to make sure Left Temperature Flap (V158) can operate freely.

2012年4月6日 · Remove the cover over the aux heater/heater core if you have it, this makes it easier to visualize and access the motor. make sure the lever arm engages the motor before re-attaching. I did test the actuator before putting it back together, the fault was gone and did not return after clearing with VAG-COM.

2024年8月26日 · Im new here and i was hoping one of your more veterans might be able to help me figure out my car. i swapped out Flap motor V158 and V159 since they were broken and giving fault codes, they clicked constantly and didnt work. After replaceing them Everything seems to work fine and they adjust and do Everything as they should and no clicking.

2016年7月29日 · Using Carista and OBDII I got the code 01809. The passenger side was blowing cold whilst drivers side was hot. Previously (for about 2 years) there has been a ticking from the dash! I eventually removed enough trim and the glove box to be able to remove the flap actuator. The flap moved freely.

Have researched on line and have a rough idea where it should be ( although all the instances on line are LH drive cars) but when I went to find on my RH drive it wasn't there.
