I recommend using zip tie to cinch the cover back,then cut the extra pc off flush-I figured a wire might poke my skin or eye when I looked into the blend door-I was able to peer into the box w/ light-both doors were cleaned of foam.....

2010年2月27日 · B4 shocks will also require B4 mount "bits" at the top end. I would keep it simple, and keep the A3 shocks & mounts. It worked well enough the first time, that i repeated it on the 2nd car 5 years later. No idea about rear B4 wagon springs. Sedans were plenty good enough. Also have no idea about B4 stuff on the front.

2005年7月17日 · The power supply for the circuit board in the instrument cluster is notoriously weak. At some point, VW or their supplier seem to have fixed this without telling anyone, because the '96's seem more prone than the '97's. Mine went out three times before a mystery supplier to a local dealer figured out how to fix the board for good.

2004年7月20日 · Does your B4 Passat have the factory Premium radio, but the LCD backlights are burned out?? Here is how you fix that annoying problem. The two bulbs that light the LCD are under the LCD on the back of the face plate. They are soldered onto the board that holds the LCD. First get two of these and remove the radio.

1998年6月20日 · The correct production number for the 96 B4 TDI is 103. 97 B4 The jumper in relay socket #12 of the 97 B4 TDI bridges socket ports 4 and 6 together to feed battery hot power to the glow plug fuse. The glow plug 50 amp fuse supply is always hot. The remotely mounted glow relay is after the fuse.
