2022年5月15日 · I am getting a P0228 - (Throttle Position Sensor G79) and the car feels like it is building no boost. The RPMs do go up when hitting the pedal though. I just reset it with VCDS but I would assume that these 2 problems are related in an odd way since they decided to manifest themselves at the same time. Any ideas what this could be about?

2023年10月6日 · G79 is the pedal position sensor, and G185 is the secondary pedal position sensor. Some of the time, the actual throttle valve will not ever open all the way, as a substantial amount of the air going into the intake manifold is coming in via the high pressure EGR.

I have another complete car for spares, same year and engine. Swapped the TPS but exact same problem.
