I had a 1977 VW scirocco with 75HP , 1900 lbs and found a Road & Track comparo test with a Honda Prelude and a Toyota Celica. Tested 0-60 had the Celica at 10.4 sec. the Honda at 11.5 and the VW at 11.2. I liked those early Celicas.
