2021年7月31日 · With this information, it appears that the Coolant Temperature Sensor is sending a signal, so perhaps that unit is functioning as intended. The instrument panel gauge used to reach 190 degrees in about 10 minutes into my commute. Now, it is extremely slow reaching 190 degrees, if ever, on my 100 mile commute, unless I encounter traffic.

2003年3月9日 · Where does the N214 sensor live on an ALH Jetta 5spd? I don't mean the temp sensor under the manifold at the back of the engine. I erased it and it never came back. The following thread has the location of where the coolant sensor. It was very helpful cause I could not find it at all until I looked at the diagram.

2023年6月28日 · The N214 is the valve that is controlled by vacuum buried in the valley, down under the EGR cooler. The "main" thermostat is in the oil filter housing.
