A red "DI" has even more power and an all red TDI was the most powerful MK4. In North America these red letters are mostly meaningless, because people like to stick them on all TDIs.

I was told by a VW dealer over the phone that they also depend which factory the car came out of too. I just bought a Silver T Green D and Green i badge to go on my 2001 GT TDi. 2007年10月4日 · blinking red temp light 7-20-2015 but very first check that the heater core is not leaking in the car mostly on the passenger side these carpets will hold a lot of water, feel the carpet, if saturated heater is leaking (very common), just disconnect the heater hoses and reconnect one in a loop back to the engine, refill and drive, if no more blinking light then heater core needs to be replaced.
