The Vauxhall VXR8 is a performance car marketed by Vauxhall in the United Kingdom between 2007 and 2017, based on two different models produced by Holden Special Vehicles: the HSV Clubsport (2007–2009) and HSV GTS (2010–2017). The VXR8 is the successor to both the Vauxhall Monaro VXR and the Vauxhall Omega/Carlton.

The VX range saw HSV offer its first Coupé models based on the new V2 series, in GTO and GTS spec. The latter replaced the GTS sedan but was powered by a less powerful 255kw engine. A Maloo R8 model was added with similar upgraded specification to the Clubsport R8.

The Vauxhall Maloo R8 LSA was an awesome pickup. Under the bonnet sat a 6.2-litre supercharged V8, with maximum power of 544PS and a jaw-dropping 671Nm of torque. It darted from 0-62mph in just 4.5 seconds and rushed to a top speed of 155mph. A modified chassis helped cater for the massive power and torque.

The VG series saw an all new HSV model introduced, the HSV VG Maloo, which was HSV’s first ever production utility. Available in just Maranello Red and Alpine White, just 132 of these models were built and they featured a 180kW V8 engine and 16 x 7.0J x wheels.
