2021年9月28日 · Hi, thank you so much for this post. I have the same goal to hit diamond this act and am Plat 2 right now. I have a few questions: How do you hold angles at plat/diamond elo? Everyone’s aim is pretty good. Holding leaves you vulnerable to prefire and peekers advantage. Jiggling angles puts you at an angle disadvantage and reveals your position.

2021年11月14日 · It totally depends on the way u play, if you are a good listener or shot caller and u have good aim, diamond will feel easier because a huge difference from plat to diamond and up is people start to understand team play, playing as a team is so important, often times in gold and plat individual skill can carry u through because people have too big of an ego to listen.

Learn at least 2 agents. 2 that are useful in various maps and comps. Take in account what you want to accomplish.

2023年11月17日 · I’ve been playing Valorant since ep 1 act 1 but don’t play ranked religiously. I just play it maybe twice a week or at most 4 times since i have school. I recently hit diamond 1 but it doesn’t feel like it’s much of an achievement. My friends keep telling me it’s good but the games have felt similar to gold-plat games.
What's the main difference between plat and diamond players?
High diamond into immortal tends to have better positioning, teamplay and comms. People actually trade and set up crossfires sometimes (but not all the time). Basically team play is better on average but still expect plenty of “How the fuck is this guy immortal 2” moments.

yes, it's the same as it was with League, riot does not want ppl to leave the game but ppl are bad at the game and stuck for many years, so they shift ranks a bit resulting in hardstucks actually climb, giving them the feeling that they improved (they didn't), for example being Master tier rn in League is basically Diamond 3 before Grandmaster ...

2021年6月22日 · SMFC equivalent to Diamond 2 till Immortal. SEM & GN1 combined are equivalent to Bronze 2 (the bottom 35% of the player base). Here is the opposite table: Table (CSGO as reference). Again, due to the segmentation differences, we will see some ranks being shifted, thus: SMFC can either start from Diamond 1 or Diamond 2.
