There are three types of 10851 awards. They are as follows: White Pins, given for the 1st through 4th awards only. Blue Pins, Master Level Awards, given for the 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th awards only. Gold Pin, Lifetime Achievement Award, given for the 25th qualification.

2015年11月18日 · I've searched and found a few old threads regarding the CHP/AAA 10851 award. I meet the criteria and am trying to figure out how to apply for the award.

The “10851” Pin is awarded to uniformed officers who, during a 12-month period, achieve any of the following criteria: Make six separate auto theft recoveries cleared by arrests. Recover twelve (12) stolen vehicles, of which a minimum of three (3) must be cleared by arrests.

The Initial Award is a white “10851” pin. The second, third, and fourth awards will be Roman Numerals II, III, and IV attached to the white pin. The Master Award is a blue “10851” pin presented for the fifth award. The sixth, seventh, and eighth awards will be Roman Numerals II, III, and IV attached to a blue pin.

2018年2月8日 · The award is for finding six different stolen vehicles in 12 months or 3 operators of "rolling stolens" with their stolen vehicle, and 9 abandoned stolen vehicles. When they have accomplished this difficult task five times, they are given the "Master 10851" pin. White Pins are given for the 1st through 4th awards only.

2018年3月15日 · Deputy Stallworth received a CHP 10851 Award for his work in 2017 recovering 12 stolen vehicles, at least three of which were being driven at the time of recovery. The 10851 Award consists of a pin and a certificate, and may be awarded to an officer up to 25 times. Today was Deputy Stallworth’s first time receiving the honor.

CVC section number 10851 is titled: "Theft and Unlawful Taking or Driving of a Vehicle." You can see why we call it 10851 (pronounced: "ten-eight-five-one")! It is also referred to as auto theft, vehicle theft, grand theft auto, a stolen, and a few other slang terms.

2013年7月16日 · 10851 is the California Vehicle Code section for grand theft auto, so the Salinas Police Department recognizes officers who are "outstanding" at finding stolen cars with the "10851 Pin" award.
