The Vector W8 is an American supercar produced from 1990 to 1993. It was manufactured by Vector Automotive Corporation, and was designed by Gerald Wiegert[ and David Kostka. The company utilized the newest and most advanced aerospace materials in building the W8s, which they said justified applying to the car the term "Aeromotive Engineering."

Compared to its competitors, the W8 was a worthy adversary and based around a Rodeck re-sleeved, modified Chevrolet 350 ci (5.7 L) V8 racing engine mated to a custom three-speed transmission. Producing an advertised 650 bhp (485 kW) at 5700 rpm and 649 lb/ft of torque on 8 pounds of boost and the engine had twin turbochargers.

RM Sotheby's sold the red 1992 Vector W8 pictured, for $275,000 at its 2014 Monterey sale. Four years earlier, the same auction house sold the black car pictured (also a 1992 car) for £179,200. Showing just how sought after the Vector W8 has become, the purple example was sold, once again by RM Sotheby's, for $720,000 at its 2020 Arizona sale.
