2017年2月15日 · My ears have always bothered me when flying but I haven't flown since 2011. Since then, vertigo, tinnitus louder than normal, loss of hearing and distored hearing in the left ear, etc... I have read some real war stories about vertigo and flying and I'm already anxious over the whole affair of flying.

Need a straightforward answer to this question: how SOON after flying on a plane would someone have vertigo? Does it usually happen right after flying? like a few days after flying? What about a couple MONTHS after flying? My Story: I flew to Orland, FL in ocotber 10th 2016. I was fine during this trip. I flew back home to NY on October 16th 2016.

2014年3月7日 · Hi there, I have mostly avoided flying becausr like I said, I feel really dizzy when im in a plane thats taking off or landing. Its very scary. I feel totally disorientated and disabled till we are either flying at altitude or we have landed.

2024年6月23日 · Complications are extremely unusual, or millions of people wouldn't be flying on a regular basis. Very occasionally, the eardrum can be put under so much pressure that it bursts (perforates), leaving a hole in the eardrum. If this does happen, the pain usually goes away immediately. Perforated eardrums usually heal well without any treatment.

2016年4月1日 · Hi, I didn't get your earlier reply. Yes, I'm flying Glasgow toTampa in October , and I'm very anxious about it. Doctor said to use a nasal spray daily for 2 weeks before the flight, take travel sickness meds on the day, and to use ear plugs, the nasal spray is to help keep the Eustachian tube open, which I suppose makes sense.

Flying can certainly be a problem for people with sinus problems so if you also have this I would consider travel by train. Doctors have advised sucking on boiled sweets, swallowing hard frequently and very gentley blowing down your nose whilst pinching your nose to equalise ear pressure (esp. during take off and decent).
