VFFN membership includes affiliation with BC Nature, the provincial federation of naturalist clubs. Yearly membership (Jan-Dec) for a family (Up to 2 adults at the same address, and can include children under 18 years) is $40, $30 for an individual, and $10 for a student.

The meeting is followed by a guest speaker who gives a presentation on a topic regarding the natural world.
