2012年12月10日 · CBS-TV's Gunsmoke (1955-75) blazed new horizons on the small screen. The 1971 episode "Trafton" guest stars Victor French as a vicious gunfighter on the lam who comes to Dodge City to see a woman he knew ten years ago.

The good thing about this episode is that Victor French puts all he has into the story making it as interesting as can be when he is shot by two cowboys during a robbery. Later he staggers to the house that is occupied by a woman named Phoebe Frazer.

Victor French returns to Gunsmoke for the seventeenth time (he would appear once more before the end of the series) as Sheriff Bo Harker. French was a frequent visitor on the Gunsmoke set, especially in Season 20 where he directed five episodes and guest starred in two.
