Comparing BMV 700-702-712 Does anyone know if there is a comparison paper or chart for the BMV lineup? After getting the Raspberry Pi working with my current Victron Controllers I am considering switching from a Bogart Trimetric to the BMV to have that info included in VRM too.

2024年12月18日 · My bmv 700 doesn’t have a smart shunt. So I disconnected the negative load side of shunt and recalibrated zero on the unit (#9) and it seems to be fine now. I missed the synchronisation for 100% but will do that at a later date. I think all my problems came from a wire being wrongly joined to battery and not load side of shunt. Fingers crossed.

2024年11月13日 · No, the VE.Direct port of the BMV-700 cannot be connected to the VE.Direct port of the solar controller - they’re both “sender” ports in a way, they can’t directly communicate like that. You’ll need the VE.Direct Bluetooth Dongle for the BMV-700 to get information and programming via bluetooth for it.

2024年9月4日 · I’m trying to add bluetooth to the BMV700 display. Victron sells a dongle but the plug connector on it sticks out about 1 inch. My space is limited and this won’t fit so I’m wondering if there are any alternatives (ie a 90 degree connector adapter that would limit how far the cable connector sticks out behind the display?
