Launched in 1952, Vigyan Pragati has entered the 67 year of its publication in 2019. Vigyan Pragati endeavours to familiarize its readers with important current events/issues in the field of science in an easy-to-understand manner.

NOPR also hosts three Popular Science Magazines viz. Science Reporter (SR), Vigyan Pragati (VP) & Science Ki Duniya (SKD) and a Natural Products Repository (NPARR).

But now, all readers can access old issues of Vigyan Pragati online available at http://nopr.niscpr.res.in for free! You can get online access to any issue of your favourite magazine six months after its publication date. For accessing old issues of Vigyan Pragati, readers do not need to register.
