The Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of the Illinois State Police. Inside its walls you will find an assortment of items on display including uniforms, vehicles and equipment dating back to the earliest years of the Illinois State Highway Patrol.

Explore a collection of vintage photos showcasing the iconic Illinois State Police cars from the 1950s. Get a glimpse of the classic black and white vehicles that patrolled the roads in America during that era.

This year it was held in Oswego, some surprises, some regulars. Positioning of the few fire rigs that were there was tough, the police cars were pretty easy to shoot. I was excited to see the old Broadview ALF tower ladder is now apparently privately owned and hopefully will be making the rounds, I could not get a shot of it this time.
