2017年10月8日 · With Ivy Bridge, Intel dropped Windows Vista (and XP) support from its USB 3.0 drivers, rendering XP/Vista support for the Ivy chipset incomplete. To work around this, you will need to find a motherboard from the Sandy Bridge era that supports Sandy AND Ivy Bridge CPUs.

2020年3月11日 · Specs: Intel Core i3-2370M with Intel HD Graphics 3000, 8GB of DDR3, 320GB HDD, 15.6" 1600x900 display. The thing is that the drivers for the HD3000 installs just fine but after rebooting there is no picture at all after the loading screen . I can still hear the startup sounds and the OS seems to be fully functional otherwise.

2020年12月3日 · On the win-raid forums, there are experimental Windows XP ACPI files, but I'm not sure whether they are compatible with Windows Vista; no one appears to have tried. 2) As mentioned on a top post, HAL Timer is probably the issue that causes Windows Vista to act funky on these newer boards. 3) Looking at the drivers, it's a hit-and-miss situation.

2017年10月13日 · Chipset and Intel HD Graphics drivers for Vista on Ivy Bridge were in fact released, however, Sandy's USB 3.0 supports Vista fine (since Sandy only supports USB 3.0 through third party chipsets, which all support Vista), and most Sandy Bridge motherboards are able to support Ivy Bridge CPUs through a BIOS upgrade, so that shouldn't be an issue.

2018年7月6日 · Intel Atom N470 works perfectly fine with Vista x64, and i'm sure that otehr atom processors will also work, however some can only use x86. If needed, my graphics card is a gma 3150. It's not the oldest machine, and 100% not period appropriate (considering it came with Windows 10), but I was hoping I could make it work. According to a sticker on it, it has an Intel Pentium N3540 with 4 cores, clocked at 2.16GHz.

2015年1月25日 · I know it's been a while, but i've successfully gotten Intel HD Graphics to work on Vista. All you need to do is get the XP 32 or 64 bit drivers and copy the hardware ids in the .inf to the nt6 section. It installs and hardware acceleration is present. Though you'll need to manually enable aero through a reg hack.
