2020年9月23日 · SM8 however started to feel like it was actually an improvement over any generation of Vokey wedges. Seems like flight is stronger with various shots, and spin is up for me compared to SM6 and SM7. Feedback is still much more muted than older Vokey wedges, but not in a bad way.

2021年8月15日 · I'm skipping details, but I had significant quality time with the Vokey SM6 model wedges. While I greatly admire Vokey technology and variety, the wedges feel odd on full shots. I tend to prefer Cleveland and Callaway wedges. Played a Cleveland CG14 mix for about five years, but began switching over to Callaway MD3 and MD4.

Played them for many years, before switching to Miura wedges in 2013, then in 2017 looked at Vokey SM6 with a jaundice eye, but bought Gap & LW anyway…go figure. 😛 Took 6+ months to get used to them, been playing Vokey ever since. 2021年10月18日 · I just switched from SM7/SM8 50/54/58 wedges to MG3 with the same specs. MG3's seem like they give more forward hit than the SM series, less floaty if that makes sense. the MG3 also gives me better turf interaction in the PNW turf style I play most in.

2009年10月29日 · For their 2009 wedges, Titleist uses S200 shafts in all stock wedges (the Vokey Design shaft band, "wedge" flex). The S200 is 3 grams lighter than the S300, which if anything promotes a bit more spin.

2024年9月18日 · Previously, I had played an M grind in both the SM6 & SM8 wedges since 2016. I live in NC and play most of my rounds on Bermuda grass. I wouldn't describe any of the courses I play as overly firm (i.e. Pinehurst) or overly soft (courses slightly north or west where Bent Grass fairways are an option).

2021年3月1日 · Hi guys, I came across a good deal and bought three SM8 50-54-58 which are usually my wedge setup. They were probably prepared for a kid or a woman with AMT shafts and significantly lower on SW than the stock specs.
