From what I've read, they all seem to be just fine, which makes it hard to choose. The options and benefits I've found from researching are: Formbot ($839): seems to be the "best cheap kit."

But there are not really reviews out there. Formbot seems to be a good choise tho? But do you know other kits or maybe better ones? Kind Regards Enrico

I built a V0.2 from Siboor, and working on a Trident from Formbot. Between the two, Siboor is much more nicely organized, labeled, pretty much point and click with a decent wiring diagram, github variance documentation that clearly identifies where your kit varies from official Voron docs, etc. Formbot is packaged much more like what I receive …

I am working on my second voron 2.4 r2 350 formbot kit. The new formbot includes many upgrades that I purchased separately for the first kit. I am very satisfied with the voron 2.4 r2. I did not find it very difficult to build. The biggest difficulty is deciding what modifications/upgrades to include in the build. Good luck and happy building.

I do wonder what is next for the "official" Voron reference designs though. There has long been a stigma in this community about CNC parts, but the competition is all in that space (V-Core 4, VzBoT, many of the Voron-derived "clones", etc), and even Voron Design themselves did some backpedaling on the subject when the Cascade was unveiled.

I have completed the mechanical build for my first V2.4 from a LDO kit. This included a Klicky Probe kit. The probe was install on the toolhead with the probe mount all the way up as instructed. So far everything appears to be working as intended. I am in the software configuration stage and working on the Klicky Probe configuration.

2022年8月9日 · Alternative is getting partial kits from reliable vendors on VORON Discord - motion kit, motor kit, fasteners kit, frame kit, and buy the rest individually. While it may be a bit expensive, great advantage is you get control over components you buy, and can spread purchase over more months as budget allows. Good luck!

2022年1月8日 · Decided to by a Voron 2.4 kit. Started some research, and heard some great things about the LDO kit. They are pre-selling the 2.4 kit for $1450. I came across the Formbot kit, and what I think is the same spec, is selling for $1060. Wanted to get some opinions on if the LDO kit is worth ~$400 more, and a few more months of wait time.
