2021年7月6日 · I just assembled and tested the Voron M4 on CR-10 Mini. I am using the same original stepper motor. So I added "gear_ration: 80:20" in my Klipper config, kept the same rotation distance value, repeated calibration of rotation distance, and got a slightly lower value and replaced the old one with the new one.

2021年5月8日 · Voron Question I'm completely new to Voron, and thought I'd print an M4 for my Prusa Mini as it looks great and would hopefully remove the insane clicking my stock extruder does on retractions. I've built and mounted it but having issues printing with it.

I recently finished my first Voron upgrade for my E5+, an M4 extruder out of overture petg. It printed nicely the first time, and assembled with no issues with the Amazon m4 hardware kit. So here's my dilemma...

2021年3月11日 · The Voron team actually recommends this be printed in ABS but you can get away with PETG. For the most part you don't tend to want to use PLA for mechanically functional printer parts. If it's a drawer or fan cover or something its fine, but if your printers function is dependent on it, use ABS or at worst PETG.

2021年3月12日 · The BMG clone just arrived and is installed. I can clearly see a better accuracy on retraction even on higher settings which makes a huge difference especially when Z hop occurs. I am gonna test the BMG dual gear for a while before I print and install the Mobius M4. Pretty pleased for now versus the stock creality extruder.

2021年4月3日 · For M4, you can get away with PETG since it’s sitting outside of any heat. The only heat it would encounter is from the motor, but since you’re working with a 4:1 reduction you can probably turn down the current and reduce those temps too.
