The Voron Trident is the successor to the Voron 1.8 and was officially released Aug 2021. The Voron Trident is a traditional CoreXY design where the bed moves along the z axis. There were many minor upgrades in the recent revision but the major upgrade from Voron 1.8 moved from 2 linear rods to 3 linear rails on the z axis.
