A meteor shower fills the night sky. Events are a primary game mechanic in Voices Of The Void in which a notable event or series of events take place around the player. In most cases throughout the game, these events are paranormal happenings within Dunkeltaler Forest.

The sky will suddenly turn pitch-black and the world will be dark for exactly 66 real-life seconds. During and after this period, a series of emails will be received.

The sky will turn a harsh, bright red. The sun, moon, and stars will still be visible, and no changes will be made to world lighting. The event will last a whole in-game day.

4 purple Rozital beacons will shoot up to the sky, all positioned symmetrically around The Hole Landmark, numerous Kavotia entities will spawn around the Hole defending it. Inside The Hole Landmark, the metal grate is shredded and contains another Rozital Beacon but a giant yellow laser pointing straight down.

On Day 29, at 17:30, a large boom will be heard, causing minor screen shake. Soon after, the Obelisk will descend from the sky like a mortar shell, landing at X: 80, Y: 2, just outside of the base and visible from the main window.

In VOTV there are different gamemodes that you can select and choose to play in, such modes include Story, Infinite, Sandbox, and more. In storymode there are certain scripted events that can occur that do not occur in other modes. These events can have a couple triggers but most of them are usually triggered by the day count.
