2017年1月23日 · I tried the Vox VT20x lastnight at a friends house for an hour. I really didn't like it at all. Maybe it's the 8 inch speaker but it didn't have much warmth and depth to me. It sounded really bright and harsh. The only models I could get a descent tone out of was the AC30 models. Do the VT100x's sound significantly different?

2017年3月21日 · But on a whim, I bought a Vox VT100X 100w combo amp that I saw on sale & WOW I just love the tones I get out of this thing. No where near as tweakable as the Fractal, but the basic, core tones, to my ears sound better than the Fractal. I think it sounds more like a tube amp and pedalboard. Pretty thick and meaty. The headroom is unbelievable!

2016年11月29日 · Didn't really love the Vox at any setting. The CODE was pretty good, especially cleans. Higher gain it got the worse it sounded. That last JVM was quite bleh. For whatever reason this amp had some of my favorite and least favorite tones in the whole demo. The Mustang was pretty solid.

2016年6月7日 · It overwhelms the 8" speaker and turns chords into woofy roar. Once you turn the resonance and bass way down it sounds much better. Also, for some reason VOX(and most of the other modeling companies it seems) seem to think we'll have a nervous breakdown in the store if we hear some hiss coming from the amp on a high-gain patch.
